Spartan Lifestyle Series notes: Notes: This was written because I wanted to explore what it would be like for Jack and Daniel to be in a relationship openly, not because Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell had been banished, but because it had never existed in the first place. My main inspiration and model for the Air Force in this story came from research on the Spartan model, but I have extrapolated from that starting point to suit the story needs. This is an AU story and it really is “This man’s army” (or Air Force) to quote Janet in “Hathor”. So no women in my Air Force I’m afraid. There will be other stories in this universe.
